Government Corruption in the Olympics?
Saturday, August 16th, 2008Xinhua, a Chinese State Run Media listed He Kexin, gold medalist for China as being only 14. Yet, you have you to be 16 to participate in the Olympics. So, the question is did the Government of China cover up the age so they could win? Two other gymnasts have also been questioned about their age. Now, if this had just been a story in a non-Chinese newspaper then we could quickly agree that maybe a typo occurred. But, this was a Chinese State Run Media who made a point about how young she was.
So, what happened? Was it Government Corruption or TRULY a mistake?
